The Big Question

   Poll
What item do you wish was sold in a vending machine?
Botox
Ammunition
A month's paid vacation
A get-out-of-jail-free card
Vinny Lecavalier

The big news this week on the Northwestern University campus in Chicago was that condoms might soon be sold in dormitory vending machines.

The reasoning for using the machines (beside the obvious): protection would be available 24 hours a day. Oh, and some students also might be too embarrassed to ask a health services worker for them face-to-face, said Leah Witt, co-chairwoman of the student government committee working on the issue.

So, to recap, the students are bold enough to ask for sex, but too shy to ask for a rubber device. Got it.

Quote of the week, from Witt: ""We wanted to find a way for the condoms not to pass through an intermediary.''

We'll let that go without comment.

All this got us to thinking about this week's question:

This week we want to know:

What item do you wish was sold in a vending machine?

Your choices include:
  • Botox
  • Ammunition
  • A month's paid vacation
  • A get-out-of-jail-free card
  • Vinny Lecavalier
